Five New Downtown Los Angeles Restaurants
As its renaissance continues, downtown Los Angeles is continues to explode with new restaurants. Here are highlights from five recent openings at the top of our list.

Chef Casey Lane’s (The Tasting Kitchen) English gastropub-inspired restaurant and bar in downtown’s fashion district features a daily-changing menu of innovative, modern pub fare. Menu highlights include bone marrow with a celery salad; poutine pigs feet, buttermilk fried chicken; and daal (Indian lentils) served with chutney toast. The burger is sinfully delicious, arriving topped with epoisse cheese, pickled carrots and arugula. Libations complement the fare with 20 rotating taps of locally brewed craft beer, a curated wine program and crafted cocktails designed by John Coltharp (Seven Grand, Caña Rum Bar).
