Brigid Coulter Design textiles and pillows, available at Arts Re-STORE LA: Westwood.

Utilizing a $100,000 grant presented by the Goldhirsh Foundation’s My LA2050 project, the Hammer Museum has launched an initiative to reinvigorate Westwood retail with a swath of cool pop-up shops from Nov. 1–24. This fresh destination in LA is now the rage of the LA textile scene!

Arts ReSTORE LA: Westwood takes over Westwood Village’s empty storefronts, which were donated by the property owners, to offer unique, locally made items from an array of Angeleno artisans and craftspeople: furniture and housewares, clothing, accessories, gifts, foodstuffs, paper goods and more. Look for items such as Iron Curtain Press stationery and greeting cards, Heather Levine Ceramics home goods and jewelry, Clark & Madison luggage, Homeboy Industries jams and ground coffee and Brigid Coulter Design eco-conscious textiles. Craft workshops and a series of performances curated by UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance accompany the project. artsrestore.la
