Los Angeles has a thriving theater scene and is pulsing with hot nightlife destinations, but the two rarely meet. Enter For the Record, the theatrical company that has taken up a weekend residency at DBA Hollywood through Nov. 23. Their latest production lets you relive the romance and music from Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet, Strictly Ballroom, Moulin Rouge and The Great Gatsby through song and dance. A star-studded cast embodies the main characters of each of the movies and powerfully resurrects the stories through a cabaret lens.

Throughout the night, you’ll be transported to Paris in 1900, Verona, 1920s Long Island and the Pan-Pacific Grand Prix Dancing Championship in a stunning 360-degree live theatrical concert experience through songs like  “Lady Marmalade,” “Kissing You,” “Love Is In The Air,” “Crazy In Love.”

The cast’s stellar singing and dancing enchants you into each of the stories. The lineup features Janel Parrish (Pretty Little Liars, Dancing with the Stars), Rumer Willis (90210, House Bunny), Barrett Foa (NCIS: LA), Ginifer King (Haunted Hathaways), among others. And to further enhance your night, pair your musical theater experience with five specialty cocktails inspire by the Baz Luhrmann catalog, like the The Red Windmill with Champagne, Absinthe, Muroise du val de Loire, lemon.
