The LA Opera costume shop is moving and to prepare they are cleaning house and giving you the opportunity to snatch up costumes and accessories on March 28.

Whether you’re browsing for Halloween, Burning Man, the Edwardian Ball or any other costumed event, shop from more than 1,000 costumes on 90 clothing racks along side one-of-a-kind items like handcrafted hats, uniquely designed shoes, numerous masks, theatrical jewelry, period wigs, gladiatorial armor and even slave cuffs.

Also be on the lookout for bolts of unusual fabrics and faux fur, as well as buttons, belts, floral hair pins, bustles and panniers.

But wait, there’s more: Make sure to shop the “Diva Rack” for signature costumes worn by superstars including Plácido Domingo, Kiri Te Kanawa, Frederica von Stade, Ildebrando D’Arcangelo, Jennifer Larmore, Bryn Terfel and Deborah Voigt, priced from $1,000 to $5,000.  10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. 330 South Alameda St., downtown. laopera.org
