Three Seventy Common Kitchen + Drink in Laguna Beach introduces Uncommon Mondays, a guest chef series held on the third Monday of select months. Curated by Chef/Owner Ryan Adams, Uncommon Mondays showcases the many talents of the chefs that most inspire Chef Adams. Each guest chef creates a special prix-fixe menu ranging from $50 to $75 per person, with an additional cost for paired beverages. Uncommon Mondays gets underway with Chef Scott Brandon, the local-centric chef formerly of The Crow Bar + Kitchen in Corona Del Mar. Chef Brandon five-course menu features a relish tray with artisan breads and soft herb schmaltz; brandade croquettas with fennel and blood orange salad; grilled cauliflower “steak” with sauce vert; simply roasted market fish with spring vegetables, roasted lemon and morels; meat and spuds featuring 35-day dry-aged prime sirloin, bone marrow and creamy pea shoot tendrils. For dessert, enjoy delicious apple strudel ice cream sandwich sliders.
