Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon
June 1. Rock out during this 26.2-mile trek that features live music lining the streets, cheer squads and a huge post-marathon concert. The race route includes more than nine miles of San Diego’s scenic waterfront and a stretch through Petco Park. San Diego County Fair
June 7-July 6
. San Diego’s largest annual event becomes “The Fab Fair” to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the British Invasion, and features car shows, animals, games, exhibits, carnival rides, arts and crafts, food vendors, and more. This year’s entertainment includes performances by Joe Nichols, Darius Rucker, Hunter Hayes, Credence Clearwater Revisited and Smokey Robinson, many of which are included with fair admission. The Fray

La Jolla Festival of the Arts
