St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center 34th Annual Fashion Show
Aug. 20. St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center, a non-denominational program helping adults with developmental disabilities, is hosting its 34th Annual Haute with Heart Fashion Event, produced by the internationally known fashion production company, Fashion Forward. The event will feature local boutique vendors, a live and silent auction and complementary champagne, as well as a meet and greet with the center’s artist, John Agostini. Cheetah Run at the San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park
Ongoing. See spots run. Run, spots, run! Cheetah Run is a unique, jaw-dropping opportunity to witness the world’s fastest land mammal doing what it does best — run. Beginning at 5 p.m. each day, the cheetahs run on a straight, 330 foot-long track, reaching speeds of 70 miles per hour in just four seconds. While Cheetah Run is included with the price of Safari Park admission, guests can opt to pay for an expanded Cheetah Safari. Cheetah Safari offers guests a private up-close encounter with a different African animal before the cheetah makes its dash and the cat and its trainer will visit Cheetah Safari guests for an exclusive meet-and-greet.
